Phase 1A of the NCCAR project will become operational in December 2009. Upon opening, NCCAR will be hosting two clients for immediate research programs. One is public - the National Science Foundation GOALI collaborative program to develop driver assistance tools for impaired/ elderly drivers (NC State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Lotus & NCCAR). The second program is client confidential.
